Meet Your Physician Moms

Hi! I'm Dr. Lisa Stoneking. I was a physician first and then a mother. After graduating medical school from Northeast Ohio Medical University, I completed Emergency Medicine residency training at Prisma Health in 2008, the same year I became a mother.  I now have two children and have learned the importance of protecting our skin as both a physician and as a patient. Despite wearing sunscreen on vacations as a child, it wasn't part of my daily routine. Two years ago I had a basal cell skin cancer removed from my face, leaving me with a fairly large scar. To me, this business is about sharing my knowledge not just as a physician, but also as a mom and a patient and helping to protect your natural beauty. Dr. Akhunji and I have spent the last two years working to bring products to our customers, family, and friends that we not only believe in, but that we (and our children) wear ourselves. We can't wait to share this journey with you all! 

Hi! I’m Dr. Sarah Akhunji, a daughter, sister, mom, and internal medicine physician. I completed my internal medicine residency at the University of Arizona in Tucson in 2006. I continued my education by completing an integrative medicine fellowship in 2012, allowing me to blend conventional medicine approaches with holistic practices. This diverse background equipped me with a unique perspective on health and wellness, emphasizing the significance of taking preventative measures such as the use of sunscreen to maintain skin health, prevent premature aging, and reduce the risk of skin cancer.  As mothers and physicians, Dr. Stoneking and I recognize the need for products that are gentle enough for a child’s sensitive skin, but robust enough to meet the needs of adult skin care. Sunscreen is the cornerstone of this line, and is designed to protect against harmful UV rays while nurturing the skin with natural safe ingredients. Our goal is to provide families with reliable effective sun protection that promotes skin health across all ages and preserves your natural beauty.
